Regina Daniels has made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians as she continues to search for her missing brother, Sammy, who was reportedly arrested under mysterious circumstances.

In a video shared by the actress, she expressed deep distress over the incident, claiming that her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, was behind the arrest.

However, she said what pains her most is how the public has turned the family’s ordeal into an opportunity to insult her mother, Rita Daniels.

The actress revealed that since the controversy began, her family has received no information about her brother’s whereabouts or the conditions under which he is being held. “Even a top police official told me his hands are tied,” she said emotionally.

Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, had earlier accused Nwoko of using his influence to torment their family, a statement that triggered backlash online, with some critics accusing her of pushing Regina into the marriage in the first place.

Reacting to the attacks, Regina came to her mother’s defence, making it clear that marrying Ned Nwoko was her personal choice. She disclosed that her family was initially against the union, but she was so determined that she even went to the police station to report her family for trying to stop her from pursuing it.

“People should stop insulting my mother,” she said firmly. “My marriage was my decision. Nobody forced me. I walked into it myself. But right now, all that doesn’t matter. My focus is finding my brother.”

Regina insisted that she has no regrets about her marriage, describing it as a “journey I was meant to take, but not my final destination.”

Ending her emotional video, the actress vowed not to back down until she finds her brother, declaring,

“My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!! From now on, it’s power for power — or rather, aura for aura!”
