'Where are your 20m followers?' - Netizens tease Funke Akindele her massive defeat in Lagos

Thousands of people have taken to social media to troll Nigerian star, Funke Akindele after losing the Lagos state gubernatorial elections.

Recall that in an interview before the elections, the 'Jenifa's Diary' actor stated that she will win the elections because she has more than twenty million followers on Instagram.

A popular social media influencer, Asiwaju Lerry, first started teasing her by referring to statements she made during the interview and other trolls hopped on, as they tore Funke apart.

Funke Akindele and her principal, Jandor, were only able to poll 206,141 votes as against APC's 739,445 votes.
