Popular actress turned politician, Funke Akindele generated a stir on social media when she attended the birthday party of colleague actress, Iyabo Ojo.

Recall that Oyo celebrated her 45th birthday on Wednesday, December 21 in grand style.

To the surprise of many, Akindele made an appearance at the bash and even shared a video on her Instagram handle.

“#weoutside for @iyaboojofespris,” he wrote with love emojis.

Netizens also spotted the award-winning thespian talking to Iyabo Ojo in one of the party videos shared online

The videos have sparked mixed reactions online as netizens expressed shock at Funke Akindele’s appearance at Iyabo Ojo’s party.

While some asserted that Funke is playing the game of politics as she is the Lagos deputy gubernatorial candidate of the People Democratic Congress (PDP), others opined that her estranged husband, JJC SKillz, probably hindered her from associating with her colleagues when they were still married.
