What Mercy Eke said that made fans dislike amala

Mercy Eke, the winner of the 2019 BBNaija reality TV show, has made her fans express dislike for amala after she stated that she prefers pounded yam and Ofe Nsala soup.

She stated this in reaction to a debate started by singer Korede Bello who asked people to state which food they prefer between amala and pounded yam.

"Amala cannot stand beside pounded yam sprinkled with ofe nsala on the side. I said what I said", Mercy Eke responded.

Her loyal fans who use to enjoy amala suddenly lost interest in the food because of her preference.
