Popular Nigerian comedian and digital content creator Chukwuebuka Amuzie, widely known as Brainjotter, has expressed frustration over the state of civic discourse in the country.
According to him, everyday citizens often turn on one another when attempting to demand better governance.
In a cryptic post shared on his official Instagram story, the skit maker highlighted the phenomenon of ordinary citizens fighting those who are fighting for a better country while they share similar socioeconomic struggles.
"Welcome to Nigeria, where the masses fight the masses for fighting for the masses!!!" Brainjotter posted.
His commentary comes amidst frequent online clashes and political debates across social media platforms, where public figures and citizens alike are regularly met with backlash or partisan defense whenever they raise concerns about living conditions, economic hardship, or policy directions.
