'We're skit makers, not couples' - Yul Edochie allegedly denies Judy Austin in court

Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has denied being married to colleague Judy Austin.

According to reports, the contentious actor refuted rumours that he and Judy had a legally binding connection.

Also, it seems that he stated that their shared love of making skits was the only thing that kept them together.

May Edochie's legal team, headed by Due Process Advocates (DPA) attorney Emeka Ugwuonye, asserted that Yul made this claim in his court petition.

Ugwuonye stated that Yul's camp started to claim credit for the March 5, 2024, court hearing's cancellation, which prompted him to clarify the issue.

In an Instagram video, Mr. Ugwuonye stated that May doesn't need to prove much in the adultery case involving Yul Edochie and Judy Austin because the couple's admission that they had a child together serves as proof against them.

He said: “May doesn’t really have much to worry about at this point. On the main issue of divorce for adultery, May doesn’t have much to prove anymore because Mr Yul Edochie himself admits that he and Judy produced a baby. They denied being married, that’s alright, but they admitted they had a baby. If you had a baby, then adultery has been admitted by Mr Yul Edochie and that’s the main issue.”
