Social media critic VeryDarkMan has sparked conversations online after calling on Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.
In a statement shared online, VDM said he plans to mobilize citizens across states to register and collect their voter cards in order to make election manipulation more difficult.
According to him:
“We need millions of Nigerians to collect their PVCs to make election rigging much harder. I will immediately alert the RATEL leaders across all states to start mobilizing and escorting people to INEC centres for registration.
I won’t tell you who to vote for, but I am fully committed to ensuring as many eligible citizens as possible get their voter cards.”
His statement generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians praising the initiative while others questioned his neutral political stance.
