Social media blogger Tunde Ednutand controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan and social media users have remembered popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye widely known as Bobrisky as he marks 3 months of being in jail.
The controversial crossdresser is currently incarcerated at Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos, where he is serving his sentence.
Remember that Bobrisky was detained at the beginning of April 2024 on suspicion of misusing the naira, as a result of an investigation conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bobrisky entered a guilty plea to four counts of money abuse on April 5. However, on April 12, he was sentenced to six months in prison without the possibility of a fine.
Tunde Ednut, who posted images of Bobrisky on his page, wished him well and joked that the transvestite had served three months in jail. He also demanded Bobrisky's release.
He wrote: "Like joke, like joke, Bobrisky has been in prison for 3 months now. Wishing him all the best.
"It is well. She will be fine: FreeBobrisky."
VeryDarkMan, who had a falling out with Bobrisky before his arrest and sentencing, said in the comments section that it was unjust to continue keeping the transvestite behind bars.
He wrote: "Is not fair"
Many people responded to VeryDarkMan's comment by saying that he ought to go to jail so that Bobrisky will be released.
