We have a president-elect despite the challenges faced - Joke Silva after Tinubu's victory

Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after he was declared president-elect.

The actress took to her Instagram page to applaud the Jagaban after he was pronounced winner of the 2023 presidential election on Tuesday, February 28.

Joke stated that irrespective of the violence and myraids they encountered, Nigeria had a new president-elect.

She wished Nigerians the best of life and prayed that they experience good governance, justice, peace and socioeconomic growth.

She wrote: "Congratulations !!!! Congratulations Nigeria. We live in a country where we’re able to vote. Despite the myriad challenges we faced, we have a new President-Elect. Love & good wishes to everyone & their families. May we reap the benefits of socioeconomic growth, good governance, justice & peace"
