'We go shock dem like high tension' - Davido reacts as his uncle, Ademola is confirmed governor

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke who is better known as Davido is currently ecstatic that his uncle Ademola Adeleke has been confirmed governor of Osun state.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and Oyetola's appeal over the Osun governorship election was dismissed by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, May 9, due to lack of merit.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, were the targets of an appeal that the court denied in the lead judgment read by Justice Agim, confirming Adeleke's position as governor of Osun.

Reacting to the news the Afrobeats superstar took to his Twitter page to express his excitement.

He wrote: "We go Dey shock dem like high tension!!"
