Award-Winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, throws subtle shade at Burna Boy amid his intense exchange with Seun Kuti.

Yesterday, January 20th, 2026, was full of online drama in the Nigerian music industry as Wizkid and Seun Kuti dragged each other to filth.

Seun Kuti has been making headlines for berating Wizkid FC as the most ignorant fan base and even cursing their parents for referring to Wizkid as the “New Fela”.

Wizkid, who has been silent for a while, clapped back aggressively refering to Seun Kuti as a fool at forty. He tagged him as a fool and a hungry bastard for hating on him and Wizkid FC for no reason.

The 'Essence" crooner bragged further, stressing that he is bigger than the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti, adding that Seun Kuti's wife is an ugly lady.

Clapping back at Wizkid, Seun Kuti maintains that his father is bigger, referring to Wizkid as a shortman and a bitch.

He also accused Wizkid of being fucked by the embattled American rapper, P. Diddy who is known for using baby oil on men.

Seun Kuti wrote, “Free Diddy. His Lagos babe is missing him. @Wizkdayo.”

Wizkid responded to Seun Kuti, adding that in Nigeria, we all know who Diddy Baba is. Note that over the years, Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy has been accused of having affiar with Diddy.

Wizkid said, “We all know who be Diddy Baba for Naija. If na chain you want come collect too oh, make una free me, my mouth no good oh.”

Confirming the subtle shade by Wizkid, famous blogger, Tunde Ednut, hinted that the response to Seun Kuti was for Burna Boy.

He said, “Omo, Burna Boy sef collect, Burna Boy won't let this slide. the internet go sweet soon.”
