Watch moment King Sunny Ade serenaded Peter Obi at an event

The Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi graced an event recently which had the presence of legendary musician, King Sunny Ade as a guest performer.

The event which took place on March 23, 2024, happened to be the 60th birthday celebration of Olufunke, the wife of a former Ogun State Governor, Senator Gbenga Daniel.

King Sunny Ade, during his performance, spotted Peter Obi amongst the crowd and began to serenade the politician.

This brought smiles on the faces of the audience, including Peter Obi, as he made his way to the stage to pay homage to the veteran singer.

Obi in a warm embrace greeted King Sunny Ade who went on to serenade the former Anambra Governor.

He sang, “Peter Obi, anywhere you go to anywhere you dey…”

“Igbo kwenu eh, Peter kwenu eh”

“Peter kwekwe nu, enyi mba enyi”
