Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed his plans to report himself to the police state on Wednesday, February 19.

This decision comes after the Ogun State Police Command declared him wanted for allegedly assaulting government officials who were carrying out their lawful duties.

Portable mentioned that he needed God to save him as he believes he is under spiritual attack and has been dealing with sickness all over his body.

The Zazu crooner stated that he had been hospitalised for days while praying for God to show him mercy for his children’s sake.

In a recent statement he posted on his Instastory, the controversial singer prayed for mercy as he said, "I'm going out today."

He prayed to God to turn his battles into blessings. Portable also apologised to the Ogun state government, saying it was fear that made him run away.

The singer also described the Nigerian police as his friends and family, saying, “Oba Anu, I'm going out today. God turn my battles to blessings, speak for me. I dey help people, God help me send my own helper to me. Ogun state government, I'm sorry, it's fear that made me run. Thank God the police are our friends and family. God forgive me. I believe in you, every disappointment is a blessing," he wrote in part.

Reacting to his statement, Nigerians urged Portable to surrender to the police.
