In the now-viral photo, the lawmaker is seen sitting among his four wives with 27 sons and daughters.

Last January, Doguwa went to the House of Representatives to take the oath of office with his four wives, announcing that he had 27 children.

The leader of the majority, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, was recently pictured surrounded by his four wives and 27 children, and this has left social media buzzing.

In January this year, Ado-Doguwa announced that he had four wives and 27 children. He made the announcement during his swearing-in ceremony in the House of Representatives.

He told reporters that his father had died at the age of 86 and left 40 children alive, including a four-year-old.

If we recall, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, a Member of the House of Representatives for Tudun Wada / Doguwa Constituency, said he had 27 children by his four wives and will continue to procreate.

During a parliamentary session on Wednesday, Doguwa introduced his four wives to lawmakers.

While being sworn in as the leader of the majority in parliament, he revealed that he had brought their four wives for the legislators to see. "Speaker, I am happy to tell you that my fourth wife is with me here today," Doguwa said, before ordering the women to stand in front of the lawmakers.

"Mr. Speaker, these four women you see have given birth to 27 children for me, and we are moving forward," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denounced Alhassan Ado Doguwa as the oil candidate, representing Tudun Wada / Doguwa constituency in the House of Representatives.

Ado Doguwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) received 66,667 votes while his opponent Yusha'u Salisu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP received 6,323 votes.
