Video of Daddy Freeze sparks conversation on social media

Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, a Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host, and scripture teacher, shared a video of himself with Tobi Adegboyega, a pastor, on his Instagram page.

Daddy Freeze and his pastor friend were dancing to Pheelz and Davido’s ‘Electricity’ song all dressed up in suits.

A week ago, Daddy Freeze and his long-time partner, Benedicta Elechi, tied the knot. The secret wedding was witnessed by UK-based Nigerian preacher, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega and Daddy Freeze’s mother Smaranda Olarinde and a selected group of friends.

Many social media users upon seeing the video of Daddy Freeze and his friend all dazzled up, took to the comment section to share in their joy and applaud him on the kind of company he keeps.

Some expressed happiness for him in finally settling down with Benedicta while others praised his sense of fashion.

While some criticized him for playing ‘worldly’ music, others also defended him, arguing that a person’s musical preference had nothing to do with the Bible.
