Netizens show amusing comments after a video of a lookalike of the well-known Afrobeat artist Asake, who is also known as Mr. Money, appeared on social media.

The short video going viral depicts the moment fans of Asake confronted the lookalike, thinking he was the singer.

The person in the car complained that he had spent more on his journey than usual since he had given the singer's fans tips.

He further begged the driver to steer clear of the spectators so that he could go to safety.

Numerous users confirmed that the young man does indeed resemble Asake. He was, however, referred to as a low budget version of the singer.
