Veteran actor, Dejumo Lewis dies at 80

Veteran Nollywood actor, Dejumo Lewis has died aged 80.

Lewis played the titular role of Kabiyesi, the Oloja of Oja in the now rested and popular television series; The New Village Headmaster in the 1980s.

The series was the longest running television series in Nigeria and it featured on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) between 1968 and 1988.

Dejumo Lewis was a producer, director, dramatist, film maker, and communications consultant.

He was aged 80.
