Controversial TikToker Martins Vincent Otse widely known as VeryDarkMan has talked extensively about the millions of naira that have been contributed for veteran actor Mr. Ibu's treatment, as well as the struggles his adopted daughter Jasmine and her stepsons have faced.

Actress Doris Ogala claims that Stella Maris, the wife of Mr. Ibu detained Jasmine and Ibu's boys for embezzling N300 million from the funds intended for his medical care.

Mr. Ibu's wife reportedly called out Jasmine, accusing her of embezzlement and fraud, leading to her and the other members of her team being arrested at the Alagbon station in Lagos.

Doris Ogala went on to say that the actor's wife had previously insisted on using the money gathered for her husband's medical care to buy herself a new home.

In a quick reaction, Verydarkman, who has been actively involved in Mr. Ibu's medical journey through hospital visits and contribution campaigns, has now taken to Instagram.

He explores the alleged arrest in a recent video, adding his viewpoint to the developing story.

Verydarkman said he was shocked that N300 million had been raised in donations for Mr. Ibu's welfare.

The family's choice to withhold this crucial information from the public while still collecting payments baffled him.

Verydarkman highlighted in his study that the family’s move to retrieve N300 million meant that overall donations had topped half a billion naira.

He urged his followers to cease giving, stressing that the money should be enough to cover Mr. Ibu's medical expenses. He also issued a warning against inadvertently helping the family through ongoing donations.

Verydarkman claims that Mr. Ibu's family, especially his wife seems to put the donated funds ahead of the actor's health.

While he left the door open for a future change of heart, he pledged not to utilize his platform to seek money at this time.
