Controversial Nigerian activist and social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, well known as VeryDarkMan, has urged Nigerians to shun the nationwide protest.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan was seen genuinely advising Nigerians to cease their protest, highlighting that the peaceful demonstration has been politicized and hijacked by hoodlums.

VDM related his claim to the mayhem currently happening in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, and Jos, where protesters are burning Nigerian flags and flying the Russian flag, which seems unusual and not a coincidence.

Additionally, he blamed Nigerians for revealing the protest date earlier, which he believed allowed those with hidden agendas to take over the peaceful protest, who have now contrasted the objective of the protest with the desire for Russian intervention in Nigeria and advocated for a military regime.

He also expressed his disappointment in some young northerners who have deviated from the protest's objective, adding that they are more focused on looting public and private properties.
