Updated: Rachel Oniga dies at 64

Popular Nollywood actress, Rachel Oniga is dead. She was 64-years-old.

Her death comes days after the death of another industry great, Sound Sultan.

Her demise was confirm by her son, Olatunji who said she died on Friday night around 10pm.

He, however, couldn’t confirm the cause of death.

Oniga, who was a multi-talented actress featured in over a hundred movies.

Born on May 23, 1957; the delectable actress began her career in 1993. Her first movie was the blockbuster, Onome, while her debut movie in the Yoruba speaking sector of the film industry was Owo Blow.

The actress used to work for a European engineering consultancy firm with its regional head office in Nigeria.
