Nigerian singer and rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu better known as Odumodublvck has caused an uproar on social media over a video of him and other celebrities reciting the new national anthem.
In a hilarious video that has surfaced, the 'Wotowoto Season' crooner could be seen saying something different from the lyrics of the recently reinstated national anthem 'Nigeria we hail thee'.
Players during a football game were observed whispering random phrases to make the national anthem rhyme.
Recall that the national anthem, "Arise O Compatriots," was replaced with the old anthem, "Nigeria we hail thee," by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Since then, it has been used in establishments like schools and churches where the national anthem is performed nonstop.
During the performance of the anthem, some of the performers' gestures were recorded including that of Odumodublvck and Sabinus.
As the national anthem was being sung, Odumodublvck was seen muttering random phrases that rhymed, and Sabinus was constantly pulling faces. Sabinus was overheard asking a colleague, "weytin bi this," which translates to "what is this?"
Rapper Falz was also seen in the video staring at a few of his colleagues as they joined in on singing the anthem.
