Uche Jombo criticizes New York Post for saying Beyonce helped Burna Boy go international

Nigerian actress, Uche Jombo has slammed, U.S media organisation, New York Post for the headline to an article it recently published on Grammy nominated artiste, Burna Boy.

The headline to the article read: "Beyoncé-endorsed Burna Boy makes Afrobeat go international."

Jombo wasn't having any of it and cautioned New York post about the choice of word.

The post equally generated angers amongst Nigerians who said that Burna Boy was big before Beyonce.

"I love Beyonce as the next person but you are wrong with this..Beyonce-endorsed Burna Boy "makes" a whole AFROBEAT go international such a think piece let down by the headline. Do better, Jumbo tweeted."
