'U for collect slap' - Anger as young actress, Ada Kirikiri kneels before 14-year-old colleague

Young Nollywood actress, Uchechi Treasure, also known as Ada Kirikiri, recently engaged in an interesting conversation with Mercy Kenneth, another rising talent in the industry, which captured the attention of netizens.

Ada Kirikiri returned from school to a movie set and was captured on camera wearing her school uniform. She was seen joyfully holding a bouquet that she had bought specifically to welcome Mercy Kenneth.

Seated on the couch with the team, Ada approached Kenneth, who suddenly became the centre of attention as Ada beamed with happiness.

Ada bowed down in front of her and gave her a comforting hug. In the heartwarming video, Mercy, moved by Ada's generosity, pulled her up and graciously received the flowers.

Ada's gesture has sparked a range of discussions on social media as many believe she shouldn't have knelt before Mercy since they are age mates.

This is not the first time that Uchechi has shown respect to a colleague. In January 2024, the young actress stirred reactions after she met billionaire wife Regina Daniels on a movie set and enthusiastically approached her while bowing before her.
