Award-winning Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has found himself trending on social media after a private chat screenshot between him and Wizkid's associate, Tufab, surfaced online.
Tufab, after publicly sharing the private chat between himself and Davido, immediately sparked massive reactions from fans of both artists.
In the screenshots, Davido appeared displeased with Tufab over claims that he was being called "Osakpolo."
The artiste sternly warned: “My name is not Osakpolo, I’m warning you.”
Tufab, however, tried to clarify, insisting he had never insulted the singer, writing:
“But I didn’t even call u that. And please stop warning me bro. Abeg me and u don pass all these level.”
Despite Tufab’s attempt to calm the situation, Davido remained firm, adding:
“That’s all I will say. Continue.”
The chat further escalated as Davido dropped a cryptic and controversial line:
“I dey warn u. Wetin wan happen. U be bird, I be aye. Make we play d game. Oya.”
This particular statement, “U be bird, I be aye,” immediately caught the attention of social media users, who interpreted it as a veiled threat.
Tufab, visibly frustrated, responded by lamenting how Davido often ignored positive comments about him but reacted to negative ones instead.
