Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has congratulated Donald Trump on his reelection as the 47th President of the United States.

The singer also sympathised with Vice President Kamala Harris for losing the presidential race.

Davido encouraged Kamala Harris to take pride in her achievements, calling her a strong lady.

On his X handle, he wrote, “Congratulations 47th POTUS @realDonaldTrump. But you @KamalaHarris should be proud! You did that! A solid woman.”

Davido announced on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, that he cast his first ballot in an American election. However, the Atlanta-born Davido did not disclose which candidate he supported.
