Treat those who brought COVID-19 with the same respect as those inconvenienced by the pandemic- Shehu Sani

A former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has said courtesy and respect should be given to those who brought and caught the virus, the same way it should be given to Nigerians inconvenienced by the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the country.

The ex-lawmaker made this statement in a tweet on the microblogging platform this afternoon.



Sani has been visibly critical of the Government in this trying times as he recently expressed worry over the singular fact that 6,000 COVID-19 Nigerian contacts may be at the large.

The lawmaker was recently roped in a scandal where he defrauded a businessman, Sani Dauda of $15,000, which he planned to give the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Mohammed, in other to influence some pending cases in court.

He also allegedly collected $10,000 from Dauda to bribe Magu.

His act earned him a month in detention and bail to the tune of N10 million
