Traumatic love experiences inspired my movie - Filmmaker

An actor and filmmaker, Oluwaponmile Moses, aka Saint Moses, has said that the trauma people go through in love inspired his new movie titled, Fracture.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he said, “The movie was inspired by the trauma some people go through when in love. It dwells on the emotional and physical abuse they experience in the name of love, as well as how many people victims have lost their lives, focus and esteem as a result of those experiences.

“The movie is aimed at changing peoples’ perception about enduring domestic violence, and educating them on the importance of seeking help from the right quarters.”

Speaking on his experience while producing the movie, he noted that working with professionals made things smooth.

The filmmaker also stated that he is pleased with the acceptance the movie has enjoyed so far. He said, “The reception has been impressive and encouraging. I keep receiving calls and messages from viewers commending the movie and giving their feedback.

“However, one funny experience I had was when I was almost beaten by a viewer who saw the movie and transferred all that happened in it to reality, thinking that I am what I acted in the movie. The person and his gang actually walked up to me and started throwing punches at me screaming, “You wicked soul. Why did you treat that lady like that? Come and have a taste of what you did to her.”
