Tony Elumelu, Pere call out Elon Musk over removal of verification badge on Twitter

Reality TV star, Pere has taken to Twitter to call out Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter over the removal of the verification badge.

In a series of tweet, the Big Brother star, lamented over the new policy by the micro blogging platform after his verification badge and that of many others were taken away.

Pere expressed zero desire to pay any amount in order to acquire the badge. He noted that Elon Musk has ruined the purpose of having it.

He said; “I will not pay a dime for your verification badge @elonmusk you ruined the purpose for having it. Werey somebody. All of us now dey the same level for twitter. Hehehehe. Nothing when we no go see for Elon musk internet. Someone educate me on this twitter blue nonsense, wtf is that?”

The Chairman of Heir Holdings, Tony Elumelu also took to Twitter to share his disappointment after his verification badge was removed.

According to him, he woke up to see that his verification badge had disappeared.

He tweeted; "Woke up to see that my verification tick has disappeared.
Wahala!"
