Toke Makinwa, Davido, Genevieve Nnaji, others react to Kobe Bryant's death

Nigerian celebrities have poured out their condolences in reaction to the death of former LA Lakers basketball player Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in the Calabasas, California, on Sunday morning. His daughter Gianna Bryant was also among those on board the crashed helicopter which left no survivor.

Barley hours after the news broke, celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Davido, Genevieve Nnaji, Mercy Aigbe etc took to social media to express heartbreak.

Toke Makinwa: “Lord noooo, hearing his daughter was on board too. This is so sad, like why???? Gosh I’m sick to my stomach This is heart wrenching, not Kobe, whaaaaat!!!! Just like that? God pls console his family, such a legend, too sad. #BlackMamba #RipKobe. Life is indeed but a dream, Lord teach us to number our days, so that we can apply wisdom.
