Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has stirred reactions online after publicly declaring support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a post that quickly went viral, Reno stated:

“President Tinubu, this is for you. By God’s Grace and the vote of the Nigerian people, you will govern till 2031.”

The statement triggered mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media, with supporters praising his loyalty while critics accused him of political inconsistency and opportunism.

Some users mocked Reno over his past criticisms of the APC government, while others questioned his sudden support for Tinubu.

Reacting to the post, @adeniyi_goke wrote, “At this point, Reno’s endorsement is looking less like support and more like a spiritual attack on campaigns.”
