Music executive Ubi Franklin has taken to social media to express his admiration for President Bola Tinubu.

He stated that Tinubu is the only president in his lifetime who has the most assuring speech.

Taking to his Instagram Story on January 2, 2025, Ubi shared this thought, stating that despite the numerous criticisms about his government, Tinubu continues to assure Nigerians of better days.

He wrote, “See this man?

He is the only president in my lifetime who has the most reassuring speech from any Nigerian president. Things might be really crazy for us as a country, but for some reason I believe it will get better sooner than we think.”

Following the backlash from netizens, Ubi further stated, “Make una no abuse me o, but check it this way: if someone at the wheel is telling you, “I’ve got this,” and he is your president, and you are not the president, and there’s nothing you can do about it than to say, sir, okay, we trust you to handle it. I pray Nigerian leaders understand the patience of its citizens. Let Nigeria be better forever.”

Ubi Franklin’s comment comes after President Tinubu delivered a speech and called for collaboration while assuring citizens that he will make sure Nigeria is better than it was.

Tinubu also stated that he has no choice because he asked for this job, and the people of Nigeria supported him for the mandate. He wants to win more, and through it, chances will come, and Nigeria will prosper.
