'Timeless' is a miracle album - Davido reveals

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has opened up on his views about his fourth studio album "Timeless".

The singer said that the album is unquestionably a miracle to him during an interview with American radio personality Ebro Darden on Hot 97 as part of his media tour to promote his chart-topping album "Timeless."

Davido stated that this is the case because neither he nor his management had any unusual plans for the album.

Everything on the album, according to Davido, was "natural" since he just kept recording songs after songs without stopping to properly plan things for the album.

He added that what makes the album special for him was the arrangement and sequence of the 17 tracks.

He said: "With all the records everything was natural. It wasn’t as if we sat down to plan things or something, everything was natural. What was special I feel was the arrangement,sequence and picking of the songs.”

The superstar said that "Timeless" is his first album on which he didn't have a single US artiste as a featured performer.

He added that Africans are now at ease working among themselves and confident that they can deliver the finest results without assistance from other international countries.

He said: "This is the first album I didn’t feature any US artiste and this album happens to be the highest chart African"
