Young Cent, a Nigerian TikToker, has had his account banned by the popular social media platform TikTok after he buried himself alive for 24 hours.

The TikToker gained popularity after declaring his intention to be buried alive for a full day on social media on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

Young Cent claimed that the now-completed 24-hour stunt was real in a video that was posted on his Instagram page before the challenge.

Following his completion of the challenge, his account has been banned by TikTok due to rules violations.

Shortly after the 24-hour challenge ended on Thursday, Young Cent responded to the ban in a video posted on his new TikTok page.

He urged his fans to follow him on his new account so he could keep them informed about himself going forward.

In a stunning act that took place in November 2023, American YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson who is popularly known as Mr Beast buried himself alive for seven days underground and trapped inside a coffin.

Most people would find it terrifying to consider being buried alive, but MrBeast spent a week underground in a box just to entertain his 212 million YouTube followers.

However, upon completion, Mr Beast advised his fans not to attempt the act at home, saying it was "mental agony" for him.
