Social media activist VeryDarkMan has finally spoken out over the widely circulated allegations that Davido mistreated an Abuja businessman through his bodyguards.

As previously reported, the musician was publically chastised by Nigerian businessman and photographer Abu Salami for violating a contract worth millions of dollars.

The businessman claimed to have paid the musician N218 million to support a children's football program, but he did not show up for the game.

To exacerbate the situation, Davido sent thugs to threaten him and refused to return his money.

The photographer claimed the artiste provided the eerie video of him getting battered by onlookers, which he put online.

VeryDarkMan, a friend of Davido's, responded to the video by claiming that it had caused him to get threats from online users.

He acknowledged that the men in the video were Davido's bodyguards and that, upon seeing the singer, he had enjoyed himself with them.

But since there is no evidence to support the rumoured allegation that the guards assaulted the man, he does not believe it.

VeryDarkMan observed how people like disseminating unfavorable information about artistes and how jealousy and rivalry are commonplace in the entertainment sector, especially in Lagos.

VeryDarkMan continued by saying that politicians still take advantage of Nigerians because they don't ask the right questions and that the country's people had not learnt from Mohbad's passing.

The social activist came under fire from online users who pointed out that he is reluctant to drag the artiste due to their friendshi.
