Nigerian cleric and lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church, Apostle Femi Lazarus, has raised alarm over what he describes as a deliberate, global plot to emasculate young boys and systematically weaken the male gender.

In a video statement shared on X, the pastor argued that societal shifts aimed at softening masculinity are not accidental, but rather part of a coordinated effort to create a populace that is easier to manipulate.

Drawing parallels between modern societal trends and ancient biblical narratives, Lazarus cited Pharaoh’s decree in the Book of Exodus, which targeted newborn male children while sparing females, as evidence of a historical spiritual pattern.

"The devil has never hidden his agenda for the male," Lazarus declared. "They want to emasculate boys and make them look like girls. They want to create a weak society."

To support his claim, the preacher pointed to global developmental health metrics, noting that neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder are overwhelmingly diagnosed in males.

"A larger percentage of the cases of autism now around the world happens to male," he said, dismissing assertions that concerns over male marginalization are mere internet conspiracy theories. "So many inventions have been done, put in place now, to fight the male gender."

Lazarus concluded by warning that stripping boys of traditional masculinity ultimate undermines social resilience, leaving communities vulnerable to external control.
