British-Nigerian author Toni Omotola Adenlé, popularly known as Toni Tone, has revealed an unconventional arrangement with her husband regarding how many children they will have, tying the number directly to his conduct as a husband and father.

Speaking on a UK podcast, Toni Tone explained that while her husband wants five children, the final number will depend entirely on his behaviour.

"My husband wants five kids, but we've made a deal. I told him that the number of children we have will correspond to his behaviour as a husband and father," she said.

She broke down how the arrangement would work in practice, linking each additional child to how well he performs as a partner and parent.

"If we have one and he's father of the year, he'll get another one. If we have two and I feel like I'm the queen of the world depending on how he treats me and the kids..." she said.

She then added a clear warning she gave him.

"I told him I will cap him the moment he starts slipping," she said.
