Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has expressed heartfelt gratitude to rapper Olamide for giving him a significant career boost by signing him to the YBNL record label.
Olamide founded YBNL in 2012 following his successful second album, ‘YBNL’.
Adekunle Gold joined the label in 2015, where he released his debut album, Gold', marking a major milestone in his career.
After his contract ended, he left the label but has remained appreciative of the opportunity.
In a recent post on X, Adekunle Gold shared a cover of his debut album and reflected on his journey.
He wrote, “Thank you @olamide for believing in that young graphic designer and giving him the chance to design the YBNL logo and be part of your family.”
Adekunle Gold’s message highlights his gratitude for the support and mentorship he received from Olamide during the early stages of his career.
