Terry G calls himself Jesus of Nigerian music , speaks on Naira Marley

Gabriel Oche Amanyi popularly known as Terry G has described himself as the Jesus of Nigerian music.

The singer made this known during an interview with Channels TV where he revealed that he started a trend in the music industry.

According to him, he's Jesus but not the Christ who is the saviour that died for mankind.

“I’m the Jesus of Nigerian music, I’m not the Christ. The Christ is the savior, Jesus is a name, and for the fact that Jesus is the most popular name that died for us and sacrificed for us", he said.

Speaking on the comparison between him and the rave of the moment, Naira Marley, Terry G stated that it wasn't in his place to determine who's more influential between them.

Giving an advice to musicians of today, Terry G said, “When the lights are shining on you, do not think that they would be forever. My own fame was full of pressure, controversies.”
