'Teni is gay' - Fan alleges as she dissects lyrics of singer’s new song

A fan of Nigerian singer Teniola Apata better known as Teni has revealed that the singer is gay and is ready to make it public as she shares a video of herself performing a new Teni song.

Taking to her TikTok page, the fan who goes by the username _.lory.g posted the video and talked about Teni's new song Young Black Girl From Africa (YBGFA).

In the section of the song that the fan posted, Teni's voice was audible.

The lyrics goes: “And this is who I am (This is who I am)
Ehn, take me for who I am (Take me for who am)
‘Cause I’m chasing the rainbow
Rainbow
‘Cause I’m chasing the rainbow”

The rainbow in the song, which stands for LGBTQ individuals, has drawn attention and validated the fan's thoughts.

Teni gave all the girls in the song more encouragement by telling them they could pursue their dreams and should never be scared.

Many social media users also airred their opinion as they concurred that Teni was indeed gay and she has made that obvious.
