Grammy Award-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has faced criticism over the quality of her live performances.

Social media critic Daniel Regha has voiced concerns about the poor quality of her performances. He claims that Tems lacks energy during her live shows and occasionally goes off-beat.

He cited her appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as evidence to support his point.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Daniel Regha wrote on his X page,

"Tems doesn't have a good stage presence; her songs don't require shouting or jumping, but still, her live performances are quite awful, truth be told. There's always no energy when she's performing live, and sometimes she goes off-beat. Her appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is one proof. No offense."

Some social media users also took to the comment section to agree with Regha's remarks as they shared videos of her performance.

Others compared her to Ayra Starr and advised her to study her colleague and take some lessons.
