Nigerian singer and songwriter Augustine Miles Kelechukwu, better known by his stage name Tekno has taken to social media to deny rumors that he slumped in South Africa.
In a widely shared video on social media, a man collapsed during a gathering and was surrounded by people trying to help him.
Sources claimed that Tekno was the person in the video when he was in South Africa, even though his face was obscured.
The musician replied by sharing a photo of himself on Instagram to let his fans and followers know that he was fine and wasn't in South Africa at the time.
Nonetheless, he hoped that everyone captured on camera was secure and unharmed.
He wrote, “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you guys. Love you”
Tekno received wonderful feedback on his post from friends, fans, and followers.
It's important to note that a different report surfaced following the rumours, stating that Kenyan musician Prezzo—who had a fall at the Bahatis premiere—was the actual person in the video.
