Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has called for support for his colleague Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer.

The actor's illness was disclosed by his daughter Shaki Taiwo, who described how critical his condition is.

She said, “Hello, everyone. I’m here for my daddy. He has cancer and it is at stage 4. The hospital is saying that they cannot treat him again and that they can’t give him chemo again.

“Please, we are not here to need money, and I really want to appreciate Senator Yayi. He has been the one footing the bill. What I’m here for is that if you can treat my daddy medically or traditionally, please, I’m begging in the name of God, help us.

“My daddy doesn’t want to die. Please, I don’t want my daddy to die. He’s in pain. He’s not happy. Please, guys, I’m begging you, if you know anybody that can treat cancer.”

Another daughter of the actor, Haleemah, in a separate Instagram post, revealed that they were not aware of their father’s diagnosis “until three weeks ago.”

Using his influence to call for support, Femi Adebayo said Taiwo Hassan's family is not looking for money or financial support, but medical direction.

"They are searching for recommendations for standard hospitals, specialists, or advanced treatment centers anywhere in the world that can review his files and offer treatment options right now. If you know someone who knows someone in the oncology space, or a medical avenue that can assist please help reach out to his family immediately.

"Let’s share this until it reaches the right hands," he shared on X.
