Nigerian music star Davido has cautioned fans and followers who try to live or move exactly like him, urging people to instead focus on building their own paths rather than copying others.

According to a report by ddailypost.ng, the Afrobeats star noted that many people admire the surface-level lifestyle and success they see without understanding the sacrifices, challenges and unique circumstances behind it.

According to him, "everyone has a different journey and should avoid measuring their lives against those of celebrities or public figures."

His comments, which come as he continues to describe himself as being in his "crown era," have generated a wave of reactions online, with many fans agreeing that success comes from authenticity, consistency and hard work rather than imitation.
