Stop terrorizing Lagos residents, IGP tells hoodlums

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has warned hoodlums utilising the lockdown period to terrorize residents, especially in Lagos and Ogun to desist from doing so.

Promising to deal sorely with them, he revealed that he has informed commissioners in every state to deploy all resources in their power to prevent criminals from taking advantage of the lockdown.

He told residents who felt unsafe to reach out to public relations officers of the various state commands.

"I will be releasing the numbers of the public relations officers of the various state commands to the public after this press statement," the IGP said at Presidential Taskforce on Coronavirus.
