Actress Monalisa Stephen has called out singer, Teni Makanaki over her recent comment stating her reasons for losing weight.

Teni who has been in the news following her weight lose journey said that her decision to give up her unhealthy lifestyle was because she wants to enjoy life to the fullest.

Her comment didn’t go well with Monalisa who claimed Teni’s statement was setting up fat people for ridicule.

On her Instagram story, the actress said that the fact that she's fat doesn't mean she is unhealthy like most people assume.

She added that Teni makes it look like being fat is a disease after receiving accolades from the public.

Monalisa noted that she is fat and that she loves her body whiles calling for the inclusion of plus-size people in the entertainment industry.

Reacting to Monalisa’s concern, netizens accused the actress of being insecure.
