Stop hating yourself for failing - Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh preaches

Nollywood star turned humanitarian, Tonto Dikeh, sure knows her ways with words. Despite the controversy she often stirs, she continues to surprise fans with interesting words of wisdom.

Just recently, she took to her Instagram page to talk to her fans and followers about failure and how essential it is to life and success.

According to the mother of one, people need to stop hating themselves for failing as it is an excellent stepping stone to success.

Tonto also added that people who survive failure gain 'irreplaceable knowledge and unstoppable perseverance born from overcoming hardship'.

She wrote: "Failure is an essential part of life/Success. Failure is not a step backwards; it’s an excellent stepping stone to success. We never learn to move out of our comfort zone if we don’t overcome our fear of failure. The most progressive companies/Individuals deliberately seek employees with track records reflecting both failure and success. That’s because someone who survives failure has gained irreplaceable knowledge and the unstoppable perseverance born from overcoming hardship. Never be afraid to fail, be afraid of quitting."

Only a while ago, she took to her page to reveal she would be suing a blogsite, Global Excellence, concerning a recent story they wrote about her.

In a screenshot posted to her Instagram page, the report claimed she was linked to 'pro-government protest'. This did not sit well with the mother of one who noted that she was in support of the #EndSARS movement and that she will always stand for equality in Nigeria.
