Controversial Nigerian actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has come under heavy criticism from some Nigerians after he took to social media to celebrate the birthday of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.

According to some social media users, the actor was trying so hard to be recognized by Seyi Tinubu hence his constant portrayal of him on social media.

Wishing Seyi Tinubu a happy birthday, Yul Edochie wrote, "A very happy birthday to my brother and l friend, the First Son of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Leader of the youths @seyitinubu

Correct Guy. Wishing you many more beautiful years brother. May God lead you always.”

Nigerians took to social media with harsh criticism, urging Yul Edochie to stop forcing a friendship with Seyi Tinubu.
