Some Chrisitian leaders are narcissists; they use their title to control, manipulate people - Laurie Idahosa

Clergywoman, Pastor Laurie Idahosa, has shared her thoughts about the different types of Christian leaders.

According to her, some Christian leaders are narcissists.

Taking to her Twitter page on Friday, February 17, the mother of three, who is married to Bishop F.E. Benson Idahosa, said that these leaders hide behind their religion titles and use their power to control people.

She noted that their aim is to manipulate and gaslight people anytime the truth about them are revealed.

"My profession is full of narcissists; most especially because they successfully hide behind their religious titles and use that power to control and manipulate people, exonerating themselves of accountability. Once they are called out (rare) they gaslight and excommunicate.” she tweeted.

Netizens reacting to her post said;

A social media user wrote; "Madam you speak the truth. But many will not agree. Their followers are their enablers and most times, it is only divine intervention or the repercussions of their behaviour that finds them out."

Another said; "Madam your statement is lucid and factual. All This fake men of god hiding behind religion to manipulate people should be called out. I'm have one masquerading as my father. Narcissism is degrading and damaging to anyone's wellbeing."
