Rapper Snoop Dogg has apologized to Gayle King over an interview which many found to be provocative.

Gayle King had asked WNBA star Lisa Leslie in the interview about the rape allegation against former LA Laker player Kobe Bryant who died in a helicopter crash late last month.

The interview didn't sit well with Snoop Dogg who slammed her in a manner that resulted in Gayle King getting death threats from anonymous persons.

The rapper has now apologized for coming too hard on her as seen in a video he shared on Instagram.

In the video he shared, Snoop Doog stated that he "overreacted" and offered up to King that "I publicly tore you down by coming at you in a derogatory manner based off of emotions of me being angry at a question you asked."

He captioned the video: "Had a talk with my momma thank u mamma," Snoop Dogg wrote in the caption of a video he posted on his verified Instagram account Tuesday. "2 wrongs don't make it right time to heal. @gayleking Peace n love Praying for u and your family as well as Vanessa and the kids."
