Single ladies grace Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge 'dressed like their miracle’

Hundreds of single women dressed in bridal gowns stormed Pastor Nathaniel Bassey's Hallelujah Challenge event at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey decided to attend the gospel music event after calling it a night to "dress like your miracle."

Students wore graduation gowns, while women seeking the fruit of the womb displayed baby dolls or artificial bumps as symbols of their belief in God's intervention. The Hallelujah event was held from 6 p.m. until midnight on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

In 2017, Nathaniel Bassey started a praise and worship movement called the Hallelujah Challenge on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

Thousands of believers came together online at midnight to lift their voices in prayer and worship from all around Nigeria and the world. They all came together because of the hashtag #HallelujahChallenge.

After the movement gained traction in 2017, it developed into an annual festival with occasionally astounding testimonies from participants.

The Hallelujah event this year took place on October 3, 2023, and featured a number of ministers, including Pastors Jerry Eze, Joshua Selman, and Lilian Nneji.
